TinkerCAD
TinkerCAD allows students to create projects for printing on a 3D printer.
We have 3 printers at the school that students will be able to print their creations on.
CODE.org
Experience the Hour of Code and more. We are using CODE.org to teach
computer programming skills. Grades 2 - 5 have been participating.
Electrical Circuits
We have used this link in class to practice building a variety of circuits.
Alaska Kids
Designed by the University of Alaska Anchorage, this site has great
information and games for kids focusing on historical events in our state.
Mango Languages
This is a free service for Alaska residents. Choose from many languages
and learn for free. You can even download an iPhone/iPad app to
learn on the go.
Wise Old Sayings
Filled with lots of topics, this site gives quotes and sayings that will help to inspire.
Mad Libs
This is the site that we are using for our class-wide creations.
Wacky Web Tales
This can be used to develop skills in the use of parts of speech.
Students can use this site like the Mad Libs magazine.
Prezi
This is an online presentation program that is free.
Students have been shown how to use it in class.

students to use in the creation of tessellations.

Interactive Map of the Lower 48 States
This map is run by the Macromedia Flash Player(tm). It is a timed
activity that allows for labeling of states. Macromedia Flash Player(tm)
is required on your system to run he application.
Science
Virtual Ant Farm
This is a fun activity to do. We did it in class to see how ants behave in their
"natural" environment. You can name your ants and feed your ants to try to keep them alive.
FOSS Web
Official site of the Full Option Science System. Includes interactive activities for grades
K through Middle School.

We used this experiment in class. Students get to create
an environment for fish to see if they can keep them alive.

are used in automobiles. From axle to axle, you can see how a compilation
